Location
I grew up in Austin, Texas in the 1970s. We got our first computer in 1979 — before most families knew what one was — and I was writing code by age 8.
I spent nearly a decade as a club DJ. Reading a crowd, managing energy, knowing when to pivot — skills that serve me in every business I consult for.
From there I moved into technology at Dell Computer Corporation. I learned what it means to build systems at scale. In 2001 I left Dell to start my own online business concierge — built it, scaled it, sold it.
I moved into fintech and credit card processing, then studied accounting at UCLA. In 2018 I committed to studying AI seriously. I studied AI and the idea-to-market process at Stanford in 2019.
During COVID, I helped accounting and financial services firms transform operations using AI — cutting costs 40–60%, accelerating delivery, finding revenue in existing data.
Today I run ForBusinesses.AI from Los Angeles — bringing the same integration-first, no-fluff approach to businesses ready to stop experimenting and start deploying.
